About Us

Taylors Corn Stores is one of the area’s leading suppliers of corn, gardening and pet products.

Established in the early 1900s, based at South Wingfield since 1921, and still family owned and run, we offer a friendly, knowledgeable and personalised service to our customers.

We stock an outstanding range of pet and animal foods, goods and accessories, bird seed and gardening products. Being an old corn store, and having a history that started from a bakery, we also offer a range of speciality flours and mixes, eggs, yeast (fresh and dried) and oats. Everything we stock is carefully chosen, we sell quality products at the best prices.

We are a local, independent business, that strives to serve the communities in which we are based. For nearly 100 years we have had shops throughout Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire, with current stores at:

One thing that all stores have in common is our staff, who are always there to help you. We’re a friendly bunch and we want you, and your pets, to have an enjoyable time when you come to visit us in store. Amongst the team we own a variety of pets and animals, and are always happy to share our personal experiences and knowledge to ensure you get what’s best for you; whether it’s recommendations on specific products and feeds, tips on training, sharing feedback from other customers, or just providing general advice and guidance, we’re always around in the shops or on the phone.

All pets are more than welcome to come in and visit us – it can be like taking a child into a sweet shop, but we love it when we get to meet the pets that we always hear so much about. Don’t be surprised if we seem to be more excited about the visit than the pets! When they do come to visit, it’s a great opportunity for them to pick out their own toys and treats, try on some new clothes or see how comfy they would be in a new bed!
